Passion Projects are independent endeavors that students find inspiring; projects that push them to explore their inner creativity and personality. It highlights a specific interest and skill and does not have to be approved by a teacher. It's a student's very own personal project.

The Passion Project is now one of the top college admissions benchmarks at selective colleges and universities along with GPA and test scores. It should demonstrate initiative and convince colleges that the student is truly invested in his/her interests or hobbies. Additionally, it shouts to the world this is who I am and what I am into. 

Some Passion Project Examples

Volunteering in the community or studying a single topic in depth can be a passion project.

How much can I earn?

Students can earn unlimited micro-scholarships. 
 

When do I get the money?

Your scholarship earnings are realized once you have applied, been accepted, and enrolled in a given college, as long as all requirements have been met. As it is part of your financial aid package, you can think of the money as being received once you actually are fully enrolled and attending college.
